Anybody know why there were five police transit vans and officers outside the Bird in Hand this evening around 7.30-ish?
Ooh, dunno, wasn't at home earlier.
I did see Forest Hill Road was sealed off by police uphill of Wood Vale, though.
Because as we all know "a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush" so in these tough times it makes it easier for the police and there is less paperwork all round.
Nothing would surpise me about this establishment. The only thing in its favour is that it keeps their genteel clientelle out of other establishments
