The Sydenham Arts Festival is coming!
With a programme featuring over 50 events including drama, dance, music and poetry performances, visual art, film, celebrity book-signings, workshops and family friendly activities it will take place at various venues throughout the SE23 and SE26 area from 3 ? 12 July.
The Festival programme will be available at local libraries and Festival venues next week. The website http://www.sydenhamartsfestival.com is up and running and the Box Office is open - it's all starting to happen!
In keeping with the Festival's aim to allow maximum access to all, tickets are reasonably priced and many events are free. So come along and sample what's on offer - maybe try something new - and discover the arts on your doorstep!
There is still plenty of time to get involved. The organisers need help in many areas - volunteers with all levels of experience are very welcome. Call in at the Festival?s HQ, Kirkdale Bookshop at Cobbs Corner, or phone 8778 4701.
