It has taken me a couple of years since I moved into Grierson Road to notice that half the road is apparently missing (Doh). House numbers start at 46. Does anyone know why this is?

Or, alternatively, does anyone know where the rest of the road has gone? Has it retired and gone to live by the sea?

To be honest cannot picture the road but in most cases down to Herr Goering.

I may be wrong but I just have this feeling that Grierson extends across the main road end near the barrier to the other side

Bonnie, you are right, Grierson Road does cross the main road, but the house numbers are in sequence there. The "missing" houses are at the Brockley end of the road.

Brian, I don't see bomb damage there on the map that was put up on the forum.
