I live near Blythe Hill. Having a nightmare with Thames Water. Our metre usage is showing us as using water through the night and periodically 1,000s of litres in an hourly period, many times when we are not in the house. Our bills have gone from £40 a month to £250. Thames Water sent out plumbers to check the metres, they said they were fine and maybe someone is using our water in the park?? The readings are spiky rather than a continual flow which is more indicative of a leak. Just discovered some of our neighbours also having significantly higher bills and unexplained water usage when they are out of the house all day. Has anyone else had a higher bill in this area and not sure why? You can check your water usage by the hour online if you have a metre (for 5 days) and by the month going back a year. We are determined to try and figure out what is going on and are interested to hear if anyone else in the area is having similiar issues.
