Last week I came back late from a concert and rather than go over the bridge to exit the station decided to use the underpass because it just 'feels' quicker..the lights were all out and it was pretty daunting for a lone woman at 11pm.
This evening coming home from work I decided to use that exit again and was suprised to find the underpass still had no lights..at 7pm it was already pretty dark..The nights are getting longer and I wondered if this has been reported and more to the point how can it have remained this way for a week to my knowlege possibly longer.
It just feels really a bit unnerving....
Any ideas who I can contact? Anyone else bothered by this?
Network Rail
thank you.
Well I tried to submit a report/request 5 times and got a message saying the requst could not be submitted despite me ensuring I'd filled in all the relevant details and ticked all the boxes...
I guess I'd just better carry a torch then.......
try reporting it to Lewisham council.
You can contact TfL via their contact form, which they can pass onto Network Rail.

Thank you-Its still in darkness this evening I'll try that
Reported..now lets wait and see.
I cant believe I'm the only one that finds this unacceptable.
Hi there, this was reported last week and is apparently due to a damaged UK Power Networks cable. I think they have been on site and are hopefully resolving this urgently!
@cllrBillyHarding.
Thank you for the update
Its been over a month now I cant believe that they did'nt start work earlier
