So a fifth of the borough voted, we remain a one party state.
All a Mayor does is cost the borough further administration costs the borough can ill afford with the Mayor on £80K, so in perspective that is 50 households council tax to pay the salary, disgraceful.
Question - how long will the incumbent serve before they follow the last incumbent who quit to climb the greasy political ladder in Westminster?
First job for the new incumbent is to set the Council tax actoss bands A-G, waiting with baited breath, NOT.
Of note maybe that the three top candidates are pro-ULEZ & LTN. The bottom four are all anti-ULEZ/LTN. Rather under cuts the protestations of the vandals.

Plus in the upcoming GE if you don't want to vote Labour the Greens look like they may be the most popular alternative.
Considering how low the turn out was, all we can tell is that Labour managed to get their membership out compared to the rest of them.

Lewisham has always tended to lean to the left-wing parties, even when the Tories had seats in the borough.
