It appears that Royal Mail have changed the collection times from Post boxes in SE23, they have been changed to 9am Mon - Fri and 7am Saturday.

There was no publicity of the changes, it all has happened under the radar and the first I knew about it was when I went to post a letter, thanks Royal Mail for the LACK of forewarning that you were changing collection times.

If you don't get your letters posted by 9am, then they'll sit in the post box till the following morning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like another set towards RM goal of ceasing letter collections and deliveries.

The last collection from the post box outside WH Smiths has been brought forward to 5.15pm (it used to be 5.30pm) and I was told by one of the staff in the post office that their collection time has been brought forward to 4.45pm where it used to be 5pm.
