August Conservation volunteering

The Friends of Garthorne Road Nature Reserve are continuing their conservation workdays to maintain and preserve the nature reserve and increase the biodiversity. If you are interested in joining us please use the ‘Friends of Garthorne Road Nature Reserve Eventbrite booking page . We have limited places so first come first served.
About this event
We do a range of tasks ranging from creating live/dead hedges vegetation and Invasive species control , installing steps to make it easier access for visitors also will be doing the weekly butterfly count if the weather is okay and some species ID training for the volunteers.

Please bring lunch and drinking water and wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy shoes (preferably steel toe cap boots).
Please note there are no toilets on the site you are welcome to find a bush!, if you book a ticket but something comes up and you can no longer attend please let Ernie know.
