I had interesting journeys from Catford Bridge to Victoria on Saturday and Sunday.

Surrey Quays Station is closed today, February 8th for the ongoing works to improve the station.

Rail updates for next weekend, Sat 14/Sun 15 Feb.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service on Saturday. No Southern service on Sunday, there is no service to Victoria from Crystal Palace on Sunday. Windrush line operates normally on Sunday.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service.

Sat 21/Sun 22 February.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service on Saturday, diverted to Cannon Street on Sunday.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service on Saturday, replacement buses between Herne Hill and Swanley on Sunday. (Early and late buses are extended to Blackfriars).

Sat 28th Feb/Sun 1st March.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service on Saturday, replacement buses New Cross Gate to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service on Southern all weekend.

The Windrush line is operating a special service on Saturday between London Bridge and West Croydon only every 30 minutes and New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon on Sunday to a reduced timetable.

Windrush line trains to London Bridge start at 0717, 0747 then x17 and x47 past each hour until 2117 from Forest Hill.

Windrush line trains from London Bridge start at 0749, 0819 then x49 and x19 past each hour until 2149.

At other times these services operate to and from New Cross Gate.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service with the exception of all services operating fast from Ladywell to London Bridge. No services call at Lewisham.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service on Saturday, reduced service of 1 train per hour diverted to Victoria on Sunday.

Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th March.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service on Saturday. Sunday trains are diverted between Bickley and Sevenoaks additionally calling at Orpington then fast to Sevenoaks. Bus services for stations between Bickley and Sevenoaks start from Bromley South. The first two trains towards Sevenoaks are replaced with buses to Bromley South and the last train to Blackfriars is replaced by a bus.

Sat 21/Sun 22 March.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service on Saturday. No Southern service on Sunday. Windrush line operates a normal service on Sunday.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: All trains operate fast from Ladywell to London Bridge all weekend, not calling at Lewisham.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service.

Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th March.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Normal service on Saturday. On Sunday the Windrush line will close earlier on Sunday evening due to engineering works. The final train is the 1921 from Highbury & Islington this will leave Whitechapel at 1932 and Canada Water at 1940. After this time, use Southern services from London Bridge and Victoria until end of service.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Normal service.

Crofton Park/Catford: Normal service on Sunday. Early services on Sunday start from Bellingham London bound, southbound services aren't affected. Otherwise a normal service for the rest of the day.

Easter Weekend - 3-6th April 2026.

Forest Hill/Honor Oak Park: Saturday service on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday. Normal service on Easter Sunday.

It's worth noting that from Mon-Thurs this week, services will finish earlier than usual and replaced by buses. Last train from Highbury & Islington at 2256, Whitechapel at 2310 and Canada Water at 2317. Last Southern service from London Bridge at 2328 to Streatham Hill and from Victoria at 2250.

Replacement buses from London Bridge are at 2359 and 0036 and from Streatham Hill via Crystal Palace to London Bridge at 2351.

Catford Bridge/Lower Sydenham: Saturday service on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday. Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes on Easter Sunday.

Crofton Park/Catford: Saturday service on Friday. Saturday and Easter Sunday trains are diverted to Orpington where passengers can change for a bus service to Sevenoaks. Passengers between Bromley South and Otford should change for Southeastern services, between Otford and Bat and Ball another replacement bus service is in operation. In addition early morning buses replace trains on Sunday between Victoria and Bromley South.
