I saw a badly damaged suv at the corner of manor mount and davids road this morning, looked like a hit and run but must have made some noise if it happened last night?

Was there Sunday morning so maybe happened overnight Saturday. Surprised it doesn't happen more often given the speed some people go round that bend (and probably unaware the road is two-way at that point)

it didn't look to me as if the owner had realised what has happened, what with the vehicle on the pavement, so I assumed an overnight incident. I remember about 10 years ago a huge smash at about the same place, I think that was a hit and run as well.
