Misleading headline...the article (link at the top of the page you're transferred to) seems balanced and is pretty glowing about how safe overground stations are, it says even the worst station in London has a "relatively low level of crime for an entire year." The full article doesn't seem to explain what types of crimes they are. Of course it wouldn't do to be complacent, but making a direct link in the headline between undefined crime and "dangerous" doesn't feel rigorous or helpful analysis.

Looking at the table, if your 'Danger Ranking' is higher than your 'Busiest Ranking' you live in a worse than average area. Forest Hill is exactly as 'dangerous' as you would expect.
However their Busiest Rank is incorrect - taking actual government figures, Forest Hill is busier than West Croydon and Dalston Kingsland, but rated as less busy. This means that Forest Hill is safer than average
Sydenham and Brockley are actually more dangerous than average
