Your local SNT have noticed a recent increase in the number of motor vehicle related offences over the last few days in nearby Perry Vale Ward, these incidents generally being theft from and damage to motor vehicles. Whilst we are making a concerted effort to tackle vehicle crime within Forest Hill through patrols, targeting those responsible, education and crime prevention advice, unfortunately these type of offences have also been on the increase over recent months within our ward.
To that end could I ask each of you to ensure your belongings are not left on show within your vehicle or leaving the engine running when your car is unattended as sadly, most vehicle crime is preventable and motorists can do their bit by removing the opportunity for this type of crime in the first place.
