Wonder if anyone could answer this question please

My mum who sadly passed away on 3.6.17 lived in an L&Q flat

Does anyone know what would happen if we had not cleared the flat when the tenancy ends and we hand back the keys

Sorry for your loss. You become liable for the full rent until the keys are handed back and the tenancy formally relinquished. If the property needs to be cleared, you may be charged if you leave it to them to do, although I'm not sure how this is levied. It may b cheaper to get in your own house clearance company.
