For our fellow neighbours on Colfe Road and surrounding roads:

The Colfe Road Big Lunch will be going ahead on Sunday the 11th September 2-7pm (Road closing from 12pm). Last year's was a big success.

We have some live bands and a DJ.

Plus there will be a Bouncy castle, Punch and Judy, face painting, tin can alley and treasure hunt, bbq and a bar set up by the Railway Telegraph! And more!

Sounds a good afternoon's entertainment. Should people bring their own food plus some to share? Something to drink? How about chairs and tables?

PS - which section of Colfe Road is being closed to traffic for the Big Lunch street party? Is it the whole road or just part of it?

Yes please- to bringing some food to share and tables and chairs.

And last year it was just the longest section of the road, but this year it's supposed to be the whole road.
