Just wondering how the upcoming changes at London Bridge will affect use of trains from Forest Hill - from Sunday 28 Aug (at last) you can change for trains to Charing Cross. I've used London Bridge services on occasion, they've been fairly pleasant ie always seats (as long as Southern run the trains of course Cool). There must be thousands of people who've been squeezing onto the Overground cattle trucks and changing at Canada Water, or (like me) using alternative stations. Do we think London Bridge trains will be rammed like the Overground from next week?
Great news!
i suggest you check the timetable carefully. I think that Charing Cross trains will not be stopping at London Bridge at peak periods because there will be too many passengers waiting to board the trains!

In the opposite direction to the peak flow, trains won't stop at London Bridge in the morning peak FROM Charing Cross and to Charing Cross in the evening peak. This is until August 2017 when Platform 7 opens.
