I have just cleared 50mm of Topsoil from 3m2 of my front garden to make room for a small patio. The soil is in handy sized rubble bags for ease of transport. The soil is clay type typical of area but plenty of builder's sand has been added, improving drainage. There is relatively low rubble content and plenty of worms.
