Did anyone notice a sweeping light in the sky last night? It looked like it was coming from the direction of Crystal Palace but I couldn't see the source so it must have been further west. It wasn't a solid beam or sweeping in a circle like a lighthouse, it was very faint and just going back and forth. Maybe it was something to do with the Queen's birthday?

Yes I saw it - dont think it was too do with the queens birthday as I saw it a little while back - very odd - thought I had gone back to the 1940s and it was searching for enemy aircraft

Or just as likely something to do with the funfair?

The funfair finished on 10th April. Unless there's another one nearby?
