After a few weeks of intermittently flickering lights, we had all our lights dim last night (Tuesday 8th Dec), at about 10:40. They lowered all the way down to off over a period of several seconds, then snapped back on again. According to comments on the Sydenham forum, people experienced this for a few miles around.

I contacted UK Power Networks who have no record of any problem in the area. They have logged the problem to my address, but need other people to report it to work out how big an area was affected.

It should only take a few moments and would really help. Hopefully if there is a problem brewing somewhere we can head off a proper outage by acting now.

Happened to us on Perry rise and I thought it was just our supply. Will report it on link.

Just a few occasional flickers during the last couple of evenings, but nothing like your experience.
