A compelling anthology featuring personal stories and experiences shared by people who came from the West Indies to Britain during the post-war years. Many had a "five year plan" to work hard, prosper and then return "home". The personal testimonies are frank, funny, tragic, thought-provoking and inspiring - a fascinating record of "living memories" by the "Windrush Generation." A classic trip down memory lane.

There will be refefreshments after the talk and an opportunity to find out about all our activities.
We have sixty interest groups which meet regularly in Dulwich and surrounding areas- ranging from Archeology to Ukelele.
