Full Version: Cox's Walk closed - man found dead

Cox's Walk (Sydenham Hill end) is closed at present by the police due to a man's body been found in the bushes and a gun found on yesterday night it was still cordoned off when I pass last night at 11:30pm (Sat), see news article link below.

Looks like it is going to be closed a while, if you need to go to Sydenham Hill via Cox's Walk use Lapsewood Walk. After crossing the bridge, take a left though the barrier follow the footpath and first right up the hill across the grass passing the flats and you will come out by Sydenham Rise.
That's Sydenham's third tragic murder (apparently) in only a few months.

Very sad but alarmingly frequent.
You don't know that it is a murder.
The word 'apparently' in brackets was there to suggest that I was aware of the apparent uncertainty of the situation.

Okay, if if wasn't murder then perhaps - with the gun being found nearby - this poor soul may have shot himself.
It sounds like we are heading for fourth [possible] murder.
Forget 'possible' ;^)
