There's a zipcar usually on the corner of Grierson Road/Honor Oak Park. Sure there are more dotted about though.

Zipcar has the best local coverage. They have a car and van in Perry Vale car park plus other vehicles dotted about. You're not likely to be more than 5 minutes from one of their cars.
I joined last year because I needed a car on Boxing Day. I've only used it once since. It is so rare that I need to drive in London.

I'm a ZipCar member, and very happy with the service. The pricing is aimed at short journeys in London, so exactly what's needed for helping someone move to a new flat, which was the last time I used it.
Otherwise I use it for trips out of London, when the public transport to wherever I'm going is not good, when the flexibility and time saving makes it worth paying more than the train, or when three or more are travelling together, so the shared costs beats the train.

There is a zipcar in Helvetia Street.
Colleagues who use zipcar tell me that if they are a few minutes late returning the car, they get a fine of £38.
