Flying ant day has come early this year and spookily coincides with a large flock of seagulls circling over Perry vale.
It certainly has. They were everywhere, fascinating to watch though.
That dreaded windows closed day.

Keep your eyes peeled, though, because it can be a slightly different day in different locations. In the past I've had them get into the kitchen and had no choice but to get the fly spray out. The walls were covered with the blighters. And after the chemicals did their job, everything had to be washed down and hundreds of ant carcasses disposed of (including those that had fallen into the toaster)

I had to wade my way through swarms on the ground yesterday and in the air on the way to the pools. A bad day for wearing sandals...
What a ridiculous article. 'Untold misery'? Mild inconvenience for a relatively short period of time more like.
What else do you expect from the Evening Standard?
