There is going to be an open day at Lewisham Police Station on Sunday 14th June 2015 from 10am until 3pm.
Admission is free and attractions will include:

• Specialist Police Units
• Historic Police Vehicle
• Numerous Displays
• A tour of Police Stables
• Free Bike Marking
• Play the ‘River Safety Snakes & Ladders’ game
• ‘Junior Detective’ competition
• Police Dogs
• Plus much more…

Lewisham Police Station is located on Lewisham High Street on the site of Cheeseman's Department Store and above the River Quaggy.

I went last year and it was brilliant! I liked the stables best. Kids seemed to be most attracted to the police bikes and being shut in the back of a police van. You can also do a tour of the inside of the custody suite.

Well worth a visit.

Was shown around a few years ago when I was looking to become a Special. Had not realises it is the largest police station in Europe.

That's good - because usually if you go to Lewisham Police Station to get charged.
