Whilst I do enjoy a read through the above booklet, The Independent Magazine for Forest Hill and Honor Oak, it appears to me that it has loads more information about Dulwich SE22 than it does about events here in SE23. Or is there just not much happening in SE23Confused
Yes, I agree, title of the magazine is a misnomer.

Flipped through the magazine last night, hardly any SE23 content.
That spoils our theory that it invariably goes straight from doormat to green bin.....it is a very odd publication and feels far to generic to be a local magazine.
Yes, most of the content is about Dulwich. We call it SE22½.
You're lucky you actually receive it! I think whoever delivers it doesn't want to climb up Brockley View
Just in case other readers may be wondering, the magazine has no association with this forum.
We deliver everywhere. Wink
Don't worry Poppy, you're not missing much and I have never received it on either side of the railway but close to the centre of Forest Hill.
I think we used to receive it, or possibly its SE4 incarnation, when we first moved here in 2007 (we're actually in SE4 but on the cusp of SE23). It seems to be a franchised operation paid for by advertising space.

Sometimes I pick it up in shops or other businesses and would agree it's full of East Dulwich stuff and has not much relevance to SE23! It's a nicely presented, attractive-looking magazine and the content could be so much better.
Sadly it says nothing to me about my life in SE23.
SE23 magazine is published by the same company who publish SE22 and SE21 magazines. Alas the Dulwich bias.
It's a vehicle for advertising.
It used to be very SE 23 focused but changed a few years ago. More of a Dulwich propaganda magazine now.
It is a disappointing magazine. It would be good to read something that reflected passions just like mine.
The current edition is a classic.
They probably just put an SE23 cover on the SE2x magazine. As someone said above, it was a very different magazine a few years back but it was published by someone else then.
