Where is forest hill Christmas lights ? Totally miserable looking yesterday :-( all along the London road

it is a real shame that once again they aren't working. I assume the council workers who fit them don't try switching them on and never come back to look. They may as well not bother really - it looks so scruffy when most of them aren't on. Who can we report it to?

Don't know about FH, but in Sydenham Skanska are responsible for the Christmas lights as they are hooked up to the street lights. I have tweeted Lewisham Environmental, let's see what they say.

Let's hope they do something about it ,it's not to late ,not very welcoming for people coming to shop in forest hill ,feel for the shop owners :-(

Some needs to contact Skanska directly on 0800 028 5986 describing which lights aren't working (I would but I don't know which they are!). They are expecting a call... (the wonders of Twitter).

I've just received this email back from Skanska - looks like it's TFL who are trying to save a few pounds!

"Our operatives have been working in Forest Hill today as we also received complaints about some of the column decorations not working. Most of these turned out to be in London Rd , these are TFL columns and it turned out their contractor has been disconnecting the lights. We have spoken to TFL so hopefully now this will stop. I have also asked out team to check out the tree, so everything should be on this evening."
