Just took an hour to drive from SE23 to Lewisham DLR!

I thought the Ladywell Rec flood prevention scheme was designed to stop this.

Ladywell can help relieve the Ravensbourne but not the Quaggy which looked pretty swollen when ran past it on Sunday morning.

I am always impressed by the optimism of the drivers of small family cars when confronted by water of unknown depth.
