I just thought we'd share this petition with you for a clearer crossing over the South Circular near Brockley Rise. There have been a couple of accidents, including one involving a schoolchild who is thankfully now fine, over the last few weeks. Several of the local schools (including the heads of Dalmain and St William of York)have been involved in a bit of a campaign to get safer traffic light phasing and larger central islands in the road so that parents with buggies can stand safely.
But of course it isn't just school children who are affected - plenty of us use this crossing to get to the doctor or pharmacy (or the pub, of course) - so if you think it is important perhaps you'd consider signing.
