Dear Every One

I am a third year student at Leeds Met University, studying Interior Architecture and design. I am writing to you as I have proposed my final major project on one of the grade II listed buildings in your local area, Louise House in Forest Hill to be precise.

Address:
Louise House
Dartmouth Road,

Forest Hill

London
SE23 3HZ

It is my understanding that this building was a constructed in 1891, by a local Architect Tomas Aldwinkle. Whom I believe is also the architect of the pool nearby to the site as well. Further research into the structure revealed that is served as an industrial girls’ school that was formed during the ragged school movement, after the war a child welfare centre until its closure in 2005.

My plan is to sensitively renovate this building to serve the purpose of the brief and to help the building tell the story of its past. In order for me to carry on with my project however, I require the plans, elevations and sections. I would be so grateful if you could help me with this matter or point me in the direction to get this information. I am really inspired by this site and desperate to carry on with this project. This information is essential and would determine the strength of my final major project and ultimately my degree. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Thumbsup

Victoria Wooller.
