While trying to find news about last night's stabbing on Devonshire Road, I came across this altogether more interesting story and wondered if anyone knew any more about it (and what happened to the prankster's house)?

The house pictured in the article seems to be the one now in a complete state of disrepair. I used to think the house was empty, but from time to time I have seen an elderly man rummaging about, and a younger lady standing by. I can hardly believe the house is fit for habitation, and I've even been tempted to call the social services. I never have, of course, in my "not my business, who would I even call" kind of way.

Anyway. Interested to know what the deal is, and if there is any relationship with the family in this story.
I think there was a thread on this previously, it rings a bell anyway.
An article on the Sydenham and Forest Hill Local History blog (http://sydenhamforesthillhistory.blogspo...-king.html) says he moved to 135 Devonshire Road.

From Google Streetview, that house seems to be in a perfectly respectable state of repair, so it's presumably not the house you're thinking of.
