Re my previous post, having read the link to the FH Society Report I see that it identifies that it is widely accepted that the area around the Station is a priority for regeneration, which hopefully means that future money will be directed towards projects to regenerate that area.
What work is being done currently in the Perry Vale parking lot?
None. Network Rail are using it to store their machinery and access the tracks for weekend engineering

The area to the South of the station has slowly gone down hill since we moved to FH in the 80's and has now become decidedly shabby. It is ready for some redevelopment to tidy it up and make it feel part of the centre.
