The shutters have been down for a couple of months now. Have they closed permanently? Big shame. We have been using them for 20 years+
Since the dreadful demise of Wok Express, and the closure of this shop,
I am craving a Chinese meal! Disabled, so cannot venture out. I normally have the letterbox filled with menus on a weekly basis, but not one Chinese menu delivered in the last two months....

Tse on the London Road have served us delivery and in house service faultlessly for the last 13 years. Give them a go.

Have tried them now. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the meal. Poor quality ingredients, and very overpriced. £2.50 for a mass produced pancake roll from the freezer???
Will wait for another leaflet to drop through the door!

I am also missing Bamboo House.

I was recently told by a neighbouring business owner that it has changed hands, and that it is expected to reopen at some point. Whether it will be the same type of food remains to be seen....
