Please join our 2nd Capital Clean-Up day, Saturday 12th July at the Green, from 10.30 for a couple of hours – or all day if you have the energy! Best to let us know if you’re coming – that way we can cater for refreshments

As to what needs doing ...

1. Move the woodchip pile to storage area near the 'Insect Hotel' site
2. Relocate the logs to suitable area for use by stag beetles, possibly in same area
3. Dig up and set aside part of the redundant chainlink fencing
   
   1. in the silver birch area, near the low retaining wall
   2. under the wall to the industrial estate
      
4. Remove more of the long term rubbish near the industrial estate wall. This may mean cutting back more of the buddleia thicket in the area
5. Dig out the nettles along the railway path boundary
6. Dig up bramble roots still remaining in the developing wildflower area, adjacent to the Labyrinth
