Hello, we are about to start the process of undertaking a loft conversion on our 3 bed 1930's semi just off the Honor Oak parade. I was hoping someone who has done one recently could tell me how long the process takes to get the necessary building consents etc (assuming no party wall issues) before construction can begin. I understand that it is a permitted development, but that you do need to get council approval for plans etc.

If anyone can recommend a good company to do the work, that would be appreciated too!
