I found this posted somewhere else... Last minute changes have conspired to bring a great bill at ED Comedy this Saturday. Ed Petrie now comperes Andrew Lawrence (nominated for the best newcomer if.comeddie award at Edinburgh last year), who will now be joined by Phil Kay (in town for a big gig on Sunday and looking for something to do on Saturday) and Perrier Award winning, American comedian Reginald D Hunter. Call or e-mail to reserve tickets, which must be collected before 8.30 on the night - doors open at 8. Otherwise, just get down early. For those of you who have been coming down to Daniel Kitson's Sunday nights, he's away for three weeks and will be back on Sunday, 18th February and will be joined by Simon Munnery and Jeremy Hardy. |

Phil Kay is a great comedian or at least he was 10 years ago. Last time I saw him was at the Edinburgh Playhouse - far too large a venue for him. But the intimacy of EDC will be fantastic if he is on form. More information on booking can be found at: http://www.edcomedy.com/ |

It was a fun evening with some good comedians. We are so lucky to have a comedy club right in the centre of Forest Hill. |

I wish I'd seen this post now. We turned up (as we normally do) at 10 to 9 and couldn't believe it was so packed. Shame as Andrew Lawrence is a favourite of mine. |

Was a very good night but it just goes to show how subjective comedy is. I thought Andrew Lawrence was the least funny man I've ever seen. |
