Lewisham council organise their fireworks display at Blackheath. This is a good display if you are prepared to take the bus to get there. http://www.lewisham.gov.uk/NewsAndEvents/News/Blac kheathFireworks2006.htm The Crystal Palace Fireworks display has been postponed until 30th November. http://www.thebestof.co.uk/Bromley/News/21597 The Railway Telegraph has a small display and a bonfire. The other possibility, if it is a clear night, is to watch all of London's fireworks displays at once from Canonbie, Westwood Park or Ringmore Rise. Most of the displays are a long way off, so they look slightly less spectacular but it can still be a great sight. |

Crystal Palace display has NOT BEEN POSTPONED to 30 November It has been planned as a 70th anniversary commemoration of the fire which destroyed the Crystal Palace on 30 November 1936. It is worth putting it in your diary now - I think it will be quite spectacular! |
