An elderly lady has gone into care and will not be returning home again. Her 10 year old cat needs to be rehoused before her family dump him at the RSPCA. He's called Sooty, has a very nice temperament although is a little nervous and needs some tlc and reassurance. He really needs a home where someone is around much of the time, preferably with a lap just waiting to have a cat in it.

It probably wouldn't work if, like me, you've already got a cat.

Hope we're allowed to post this kind of thing - he is a local, if that's any help.
