Does anybody know if any tennis classes are available near Forest Hill. I went to Dulwich park but couldn't see any where to enquire about the courts or lessons. |

Go to any 'public' court in Dulwich Park. You will be approached by someone asking for money sooner or later. They will probably know of a local coach. There used to be one in Dulwich Park. You may want to try the park rangers office. As you enter the main gate, turn left where the bike people are. The rangers, or Green Team are based in there. They will have all the answers you need.

Try Sydenham Tennis club in Lawrie Park Road 0208-778-4217. They have been offering some free lessons. |

I second that from Frank, i'm a member at Sydenham tennis club, very friendly and very good in house coach. |

Perhaps it would be worth approaching the keepers of Horniman Gardens and asking them to restore the fine tennis court they removed a few years ago. While they are about it they might also be prevailed upon to restore the lovely water garden. Nothing was ever said about why these excellent features were removed. |

The Sydenham Lawn Tennis club also does squash and croquet as well as table tennis and a fine bar and social club for members. |

Check out www.parklangley.org members club who besides being in an overated part of Bromley also have a Sydenham site - good club but 0/10 for being found on Google |
