I have looked at your website with interest, especially the section on businesses in Perry Vale. My sister and I still own the freehold of 1 Perry Vale (now part of EJ Carpets). My great grandfather was Francis Amos, tailor (1884 no 1 Dean Terrace, 1894 no 1a)), my grandfather Frank Amos (1909 no 1 and 1935 no 31), and my great grandfather Richard Dean, baker( 1894 no 1). I would be happy to be in contact with Doug White who compiled the list as I have family photographs, and he might have interesting information for me. |
