Conservation groups

Does anyone know of any conservation groups that I could help out as a volunteer. I thought there was a group that looked after Crofton Park or Nunhead cemetery. Something cleaning up the environment.

There is a group that tends to the conservation area in the railway cutting between Honor Oak and Forest Hill. Sounds awful, but its lovely in there with ponds, etc. Have a look at:
