I managed to flick through a copy of the Catford & Lewisham Newshopper yesterday, low and behold I saw that on page 5 we have 4 square inches of "Forest Hill Society making progress!" (or something of that ilk) It appears the power of the internet is widespread. This kind of publicity is very good for building the team, I think we should have some impetus with Lewisham council and its decisions very soon! On the road to making Forest Hill the gem it deserves to be. Lets keep pressing. |

Also John Paschoud a councillor in Perry Vale also mentions the FHS and seems eager to join. http://www.lewisham.org.uk/john/LBL/weblog/2006/05 /rather-long-perrymount-school-meeting.html |

Thanks Loneranger, for posting the John Paschoud weblog link. I've often wondered what local councillors do and now I've got a chance to find out. Maybe I can think of a few things to pester him with, to give him a change from housing problems. A new railway station at Forest Hill perhaps? |
