Roz,
I suggest that the owner should contact
lewisham Animal Welfare
Wearside Road Depot
Ladywell SE13 7EZ
Tel: 020 8314 2098
Sometimes stray animals are kept by them for a few days. If the animal is unclaimed it will be passed to a dogs/cats home (I think).

Lewisham Animal welfare often pass dogs and coats onto either Battersea Dog (and Cats) Home or Celia Hammand Animal Trust in New Cross.

I brought my cat to be sterilized today.

The vet just called me and told that she's already pregnant and asked me to decide on the spot for either temination or fulfilment of fertility.

I'll have 5 kittens in two to three weeks!
If you can't find yours you now know where to find a replacement.
