Baggy Dave is still a bit poorly but urges you to object to the following development plans. He apologises for not checking with the originator but due to the tight timescale has gone ahead. This is not intended to be a discussion thread, just a call for action. If you are not bothered or even support such development keep it to yourself or start another thread!:

For many years now we have successfully prevented a property developer from building on the reservoir site on our hill and preserved much wild life in our area. Unfortunately, he has now put in an application to fell 5 lime trees and remove all trees within 10 metres of the fence line on the reservoir site adjoining 36 Honor oak Road. We only found out about this yesterday and the date for submitting objections to this planning application is tomorrow, Friday!!!!! All is not lost, however, in this age of emails, where it is possible to do this instantly on line. We still have a chance of preventing the building property developer from getting planning permission from Lewisham Council. The application number is DC/06/62470. Send emails to Sheila Yates including your name, postal address and post code. The email address is planning@lewisham.gov.uk. The grounds fo our objection to the felling of the trees is because of the damage it will do to a precious wild life habitat.

Many thanks for helping to protect the few green spaces left for insects, plant life and animal life to survive in.
