Does anybody have any suggestions where we can have an Inaugural General Meeting of the Forest Hill Society? It needs to be a reasonably priced venue near the centre of Forest Hill. Hopefully this does not really count as recommending a business so you should be able to post suggestions on the forum, or you can contact me directly at michael.abrahams@ntlworld.com We need to get this booked and publicised before Forest Hill Day if possible. |

What about the Dutch Barn at Hornimans? I know you didn't think it would be big enough, but I read on the Friends of the Horniman site that they're holding their AGM in it. |

There is a large function room above the Blythe Hill Tavern with a lot of seating. I will enquire as to how many it holds. |

Someone has recommended the downstairs room at Question which is apparently very quiet. I can look into this if people want. There is a charge but not too much apparently. Maybe this or any other venue would want to sponsor our initial leaflet, which could go out with their publicity info on the back of it. |
