Does anyone know if there are any plans to remove the graffiti on the bridge at Forest Hill station? Surely a simple solution would be to replace the white boards that scream 'please spray paint on me' with bars like other stations?

This is something I've spoken to the rail companies about. It's been like that for ages and they claim it's too much trouble to remove because they have to shut the line to do anything to the bridge (in case anything falls onto a passing train). The situation is similar with that massive bit of graffitti on the side of the postal sorting office, slightly further south along the line. I fully intend to keep nagging them about it.

I've complained to Southern three times about this matter in the past year. It's an absolute disgrace. Cllr Peake - please keep lobbying on our behalf. I'm sick of the sight of that horrid bridge. It's also the only one in the area that has spikes and a wire cage. Perhaps the money that they make from the step ads should go directly to improving the bridge.

I wish you luck. Sympton of break down in society as Police can only arrest the law abiding citizen . The others claim Mr Blairs notorious human rights ( without responsibility ) act.
