Chris Maines, Liberal Democrat candidate for Mayor of Lewisham, has launched his campaign. Following Liberal Democrat victories in 5 out of 8 by-elections held in the borough of Lewisham during the term of outgoing mayor, Mr Bullock, Chris has positive plans to improve the borough.

He almost became MP for Orpington in 2001 in a close fight with the Tories. He has previously been leader of Bromley council, so he certainly has the experience to be Mayor. |
