Pat, whereabouts in the Horniman? Is in the main building or the CUE building, and which entrance do people use- the one in the park or the original one on London Road? Thanks |

Pass! Maybe a local councillor could provide the information you require. However, I'm sure that in the interest of health and safety the entrance will be well lit and sign-posted. Unfortunately it clashes with another meeting I will be attending although members of Sydenham Society will be present at the Mayor's meeting. I shall look forward to reading the posts of attendees on Friday morning! |

Did anybody attend? Was it interesting or is this forum a better place to get the views of local residents? |

This meeting was well attended considering that it was a wet and windy evening in December. Unfortunately the Mayor was ill, and on the advice of his doctor was therefore unable to attend. However, through the experienced chairing of the meeting by Cllr Whiting, the concerns of all those who put a question forward were addressed by our team of experts, or taken away to be followed up and replied to asap. This was the last meeting in this round of the Mayor's "Let's Talk" programe through the 18 wards in Lewisham, but there is a meeting of the Forest Hill Steering Group on 8/12/05 at Holy Trinity Church Hall at 7.30pm. As I shall be attending a carol concert on behalf of the charity for young women with breast cancer, The Lavender Trust, Cllr Whiting will be in the chair in my place. All Forest Hill residents welcome to attend this local forum. |
