Traffic lights on Perry Vale?

Are they building traffic lights on Perry Vale or just a traffic island? Please say it's traffic lights!!

I think it is likely to be a traffic island. I think you need to have at least 3 people killed before you can get traffic lights!
The best place for traffic lights would be by the railway station.

It is the perfect spot for a zebra crossing, any closer to the station would be on a bend in the road.
It is interesting that work has started despite the consultation on Perry Vale North traffic calming not being completed.

I have not seen the works. But the traffic island at the junction of Woolstone and Hurstbourne Roads is being replaced with a pedestrian refuge and a speed bump/table.

Perhaps this is what you are getting.
