Hi I am thinking of moving to a property on Kemble Road SE23 and have an appointment for a viewing on Friday. Could anyone kindly let me know what this street/ area is like?
Many thanks for your help.

Not a bad part of town, convenient for the station, shops and curry houses.

I have lived on Shipman rd, which is around the courner from Kemble for three years. I think it is a great area and wished I had moved here years ago. It is full of families and children. The Perrymont Primary school is around the corner. The children in area act like children, not like mini-trainee drug dealers like they did in Hackney. The neighbors are unpretentious and I think it one of the last good value for money neighborhoods left in London. (There is one worring police "can you help?" sign about a serious assault on Shipman and Trilby rd--but that is the first of it's kind I have ever seen.) But, of course, we do live in London. Other than that I think it is a really nice place to live.

Where did Shipman Rd use to be Elizabeth, before it started being round the corner from Kemble?

Kemble rd leads into Vestris rd which leads into Shipman. They are all in the neighborhood between Standsted and Perry Vale. I meant 'around the corner' as in--in the same neighborhood. Which Shipman rd are you thinking of?

Oh, I get it now. it's been around the corner for three years. I did have a baby recently. Brain matter has been shrinking. sorry about the sulky comment.
