I've just come back from Trafalgar Square where I witnessed a great sight - London being awarded the 2012 olympics! What effects, if any, do you think this will have on Forest Hill? For starters, I guess Ken has no excuse to back out of the East London Line extension now... |

Anybody have any idea of how long it will take to get to the Olympic Park via ELLX? Or a likely B&B rate for tourists who want to stay in a civilised part of London? |

Fantastic news. My rate will be lots of $'s for Americans, except the ladies synchronised swimming team, who can stay for free. |

And maybe a discount for the female volley ball team too? Suppose you need extra strong beds for the weightlifters. |

It's just amazing! Can't believe the people who are already beginning to moan about it. "It will cost too much, can't we find a better way to spend the money...." Why can't these Victor Meldew get a life? They wouldn't appeciate something amazing if it hit them in the face! |

What fantastic news that we have the Olympics for 2012. Such a contrast today! I cant believe that two days can be so very different elation followed by shock and horror. |
