Yet again I have had problems with Parcel Force not delivering Parcels. Parcel posted in America on 20th January didn't arrive. Parcel arrived back in America last week with Parcel force Labels saying delivery had been attempted on 2nd Feb and 20th Feb. As far as we know there was someone home on both these days, but regardless of this the delivery man should have put a card through the door saying that he had been, which did not happen. Consequence was our friend in America had to pay $23 to get her own parcel back! On a previous occasion a similar thing happened when they said they had tried to deliver a parcel on two occasions, and had not left a card. When I tried to phone Charlton depot I could not get a reply on the number given. It was either engaged or rang and rang and no-one answered. I eventually rang the helpline on the 0800 number on their vans and was given the number of the Managers private line which was answered straight away. Fortunately the parcel was still at the depot and was delivered next day. On another occasion the delivery man was leaving parcels in the entrance hall of our block of flats and apparently signing the Trackback forms himself. He was sacked after I complained. On yet another occasion a parcel arrived in a plastic bag absolutely sopping wet. Despite our protests we never did get any explanation or compensation. |

Basically they are cheap and not very cheerfull. Too be honest all of the parcel carriers run on a shoe string and it is amazing as much is delivered as it is. Suggest you complain to the media or Parcelforce. |
